Welcome to Reluctant Nutritionist

Hello! My name is Kristy Sosnowski and welcome to my blog, Reluctant Nutritionist. I am so excited to share with you my 30 years of trials, tribulations and experiences. Simple daily changes which are sustainable will start to shift your perspective and by extension, your whole being. You just need the keys to unlock your potential.
So why ‘Reluctant Nutritionist’?
The name doesn’t exactly inspire confidence in my ability to teach the nutritional gospel. Or give advice on how to structure your day for success with something as simple as food, movement and fresh air. Or does it?
I don’t love kale. I don’t love eating within a specific window during the day. Nothing in my being actually enjoys getting up and working out at 6 in the morning. I would much rather stay tucked in my bed, reading my book and dreaming of a yummy pancake breakfast. Maybe a biscuit or two.
The problem is, I feel like crap when I do this. If I don’t jumpstart my day with movement and plenty of water first thing in the morning, I’m setting myself up for a cloudy, brain fog day (sprinkled with a bit of a bad mood, attitude and impatience).
I know how bad I can feel from the food I eat and how good I can feel when it’s done right. This conclusion has come to me reluctantly. I didn’t want to give up some of my favorites but my ability to move, think and enjoy my life depends on it.
Reluctant Nutritionist is authentic. It’s real. I want to help people find their authentic selves and love doing it. This is not about a quick fix. They don’t work. Ever. Enjoy and embrace the process and things start transforming in front of your eyes. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results. We have all done it. Now it’s time to change the input so the output is exactly what you want. Really figure out what works for you to sustain that loop.
.

Change you Loop, Change your Life.
I’m a big believer in the 80/20 rule. Everyone has their vices, I’m no exception. It is equally important to indulge with some of your favorites during the week. Just do it 20% of the time. I gravitate to bad habits. Still love a good margarita and chocolate. And I will have it!
I just keep it in check and get back to my loop.
This has always been my motto- Change Your Loop, Change Your Life. My goal is to help you figure out the Loop which works for you and you will transform your life. It’s the daily practice that counts. Not the once a week indulgence. Without a sustainable, enjoyable loop, becoming healthy will be short-lived.
So welcome to my blog, where we will focus on game changing nutrition, brain specific protocols and body transforming movement programs which will change your life without breaking the bank or spending hours at the gym.
